High altitude clouds
Looking straight up on a walk to the shop.
The thin whispy clouds are Cirrocumulus. There's also some irridesence visible where the sun shows in the shot.

Cowslips
These were found growing in a verge by the side of a footpath near a main road. I'm used to seeing them growing in the wild!
The name Cowslip is said to derive from Cow's slop because it is often found growing near cow dung.

Spring cherry tree
Spring is in the air
While out on a walk I looked up under this cherry tree, and squinted at the image on my phone screen.

Wet Sky
Went out for a walk with my daughter on Saturday and it poured down all day. Till we got home...typical. Got some good shots though, including this lovely Stratocumulus cloud.

Help...me...
After photographing some clothing at Oxfam the other day I happened across this arrangement of mannequin parts, and I thought it looked a little creepy, so I got a photo with my phone.

Inside an icon of Spring!
My partner Helen brought some daffs home for young Katie and I thought, ooh, photo ops!
And so.....
I thought I'd get a close look at those inner parts, and so I reverse mounted a 50mm lens onto the macro lens to get me to 2X (ish).
In this shot the petals were touching the rear lens mount of the 50, so that set my close limit!

Hedgehog in the garden
Well I say in the garden, he was actually near the back door step! I let the dog out and wondered why she was hesitating. I went to get her and came across this big pig!
First time I've ever been able to get a good hedgepig shot!

Wood Avens
Also known as Herb Bennet, this is a wild flower in the Rose family that seems to like my garden! Its a sprawling low growing plant with these tiny yellow flowers that are less than the size of a penny. These are follwed by seedheads that are like burrs that catch on your socks as you walk through the grass.
