Little Pink Aliens

I got a new microscope (well, a secondhand one) and I've been trying it out on my old slides. This is an image of a section of corn showing the phloem and xylem cells. The image was made by holding my Canon compact up the eyepiece, hence the circular image.

And this is an image of fern sporangia, cropped to create a rectangular image.

Wet Sky

Went out for a walk with my daughter on Saturday and it poured down all day. Till we got home...typical. Got some good shots though, including this lovely Stratocumulus cloud.

After photographing some clothing at Oxfam the other day I happened across this arrangement of mannequin parts, and I thought it looked a little creepy,  so I got a photo with my phone.
