House Martin in flight

I went into the garden yesterday to photograph some birds, and after many attempts managed to catch a House Martin doing what it does best.

Hoverfly on Pignut

I came across this Syrphid browsing on a flower head of Pignut, and got a shot with the Panasonic bridge camera.
