Sunset Approaches

Some indoor macros

 Just playing with my macro stuff, trying to work out a good portable light set up using my flash on a ball and socket head on a bracket. A bit loose but doable. The images are a bit underexposed though prior to editing with Snapseed on my phone. 

A very early sunset

 While watching TV yesterday afternoon I noticed the sky seemed to turn pink and the walls of the living room took on a weird tinge. I had to go outside to have a look. The sky was turning from pink to orange, like a sunset, yet it wasn't even 3.30!

Autumn colours in the garden

 The birch in my garden putting on its Autumn clothes. 

Tiny fungi in the garden

 Spotted these strange little fungi growing on some old rope in the garden (its part of an old cat scratching post, put outside for the purpose of seeing what, if any, fungi I could get)

Hints of Autumn

Rose hips, Rosebay Willowherb and Hawthorn berries. 

Clouds + Gulls

 Every evening the gulls fly over on their way to their roosting site, and I often go out to check out the sky for interesting clouds. On this evening I went outside with my phone and combined both!
