Beautiful Symmetry

I found this Riband Wave moth near the stairs and got a few shots off with my flash on a bracket.

Crescent Moon and Venus

When I took this in March the crescent Moon and Venus were arranged closely in the night sky, with Jupiter a little further off. I got this shot by holding my smartphone up to the eyepiece of a 7x40 monocular I have, a very hit and miss affair! This is the best of 3 shots.

Little Jumper

I spotted this tiny chap earlier, and after a first shot he turned around to look right at me!

A Ladybird shelters from the cold in the confines of the conifer in my garden.

Water of Life

a tiny drop of water on our Plum tree. It hadnt been raining, it was just condensation after the fog we'd had earlier in the day.

A young snail in the garden at night, species probably Helix aspersa.
Anyone know what young snails are called?
